Russell’s Reserve 10 Years Old

Let’s get one thing straight — all bourbon is whiskey, but not all whiskey is bourbon. Bourbon tastes stronger and sweeter than other whiskeys. That’s because it’s distilled from a key ingredient: corn. Bourbon is America’s native spirit, and 95% of it comes from Kentucky.

To call your bourbon Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey it must be aged in new, charred oak barrels for at least 2 years and be made in Kentucky.

== RUSSELL'S RESERVE 10 ==

Richness with vanilla and some mint and spice from the rye

Only a handful of barrels are selected in small batches from the middle section or “centre cut” of the rick house by Master Distiller, Jimmy Russell and his son, Master Distiller, Eddie Russell. The whiskey ages for a minimum of 10 years in the deepest no.4 char, or alligator charred (AKA alligator) barrels for richer colour and deeper flavour. Russell's Reserve 10 has a lower barrel entry proof, which brings out more flavours with less distilling.
